Just a few days prior to World Day Against Trafficking, Tech Against Trafficking announced that it is officially a workstream of the Global Business Coalition Against Trafficking (GBCAT).

Today, we are excited to share the Tech Against Trafficking 2021-2022 Impact Report, which highlights some of our achievements and innovative work for the broader community. 

Last week, Tech Against Trafficking (TAT) brought together technologists, nonprofits, academics, governments, and policy-makers from 60 countries in a virtual event to celebrate the close of its second Accelerator and discuss how tech advancements can be used to combat human trafficking.

Last week, Tech Against Trafficking launched its second Accelerator program, welcoming Seattle Against Slavery and Unseen UK into the community. Both organizations have shown exceptional innovation and potential in their deployment of technology solutions, and this investment in support and expertise by Tech Against Trafficking member companies aims to exponentially accelerate their respective impact over the coming years.

Human trafficking is a crime against humanity and a violation of the most fundamental human rights. No attempt to build a more resilient society can ignore the systemic issues that allow trafficking to take hold, since the ongoing existence of modern slavery, servitude, and exploitation challenge the very foundations of what we seek to protect.

Tech Against Trafficking and BT will be hosting an online event to help you unlock the potential of your organization through the use of digital tools. The event will feature a Skills for Tomorrow workshop by BT.

The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and Tech Against Trafficking,  a coalition of global tech companies and experts leveraging technology to help eradicate human trafficking, have jointly launched ‘Leveraging innovation to fight trafficking in human beings: A comprehensive analysis of technology tools’.
